Villa La Luna di Carta
is located in Ischia Porto, via Federico Variopinto, 11/13, behind the very central Piazza degli Eroi, where also the famous Bar Calise lies.
It can be reached from the port of Ischia (1 km) in 15 minutes on foot, or 5 minutes by car or bus. The main bus station is located opposite the hydrofoils and ferry mooring. Several bus numbers are suitable to reach us: 175, 176, 177, 178, 183, and 197.
Our bus stop is Piazza degli Eroi, where you will pass through the taxi parking near the newsstand and turn right. We are 5 m on the right. At the port, there are also taxis, which will accompany you up to the entrance of the Villa.

enjoys an ideal location to reach on foot all the must-see places of Ischia, including the historical centre of Ischia Ponte and the well-known Castello Aragonese, also by bus no. 177 from Piazza degli Eroi.
Everything at your fingertips: the beaches are within 10 minutes walking and can also be reached by car or scooter, but only at certain times, whereas in the rest of the day traffic is closed. However, the walk leading to the sea is so pleasant with its pine woods, tree-lined boulevards and shops, to invite you to go on foot.
Besides the beaches of Ischia Porto, our island offers a great variety of shores in all the other towns, along with wonderful thermal parks, an unmissable destination to enjoy relaxation, wellbeing, and enchanting natural views.

Getting around Ischia
We are well connected to all the towns of Ischia: Some destinations can be directly reached from the bus stop of Piazza degli Eroi, whereas for the other ones, you can go to the terminal of Ischia Porto, where you can catch all the bus lines.
Bus tickets can be purchased everywhere in newspaper stands, tobacco shops and bars (the nearest one is at the newspaper stand of Piazza degli Eroi).
Moreover, a car, scooter (parking areas with white and blue stripes are available) or an e-bike offers the opportunity to enjoy the utmost autonomy to move around. In case of interest, we suggest booking a vehicle in advance. We’ll be pleased to recommend the most charming places on the whole territory of Ischia.
Maritime connections
By hydrofoil from Molo Beverello (by the ferry companies Caremar and Alilauro), ferries from Calata Porta di Massa (Caremar and Medmar), and also ferries from the port of Pozzuoli (Caremar, Medmar and Gestur).
